Grade 3 and 6 students from SJPII School had the incredible opportunity to visit Pow Wow Island at Waushushk Onigum, engaging in a meaningful and immersive cultural experience.

During their visit, students connected with traditional teachings and gained valuable skills such as hunting, fishing, and survival techniques. In addition to these hands-on activities, they learned about the rich history of the Anishinaabe community, deepening their understanding and appreciation of Indigenous culture.
