In an inspiring collaboration, SJPII School recently completed the "Coaching Boys Into Men" program, led by Chrysti Savage from Saakaate House.

Eight years ago, the students at SJPII School voiced a simple yet profound need: a playground that offered them more engaging activities and opportunities. The school's response was both immediate and visionary. Under the leadership of Vice Principal Tammy Bush, the school embarked on a journey to transform their outdoor space into a landscape of possibilities, inspired by the voices of the students themselves.

The grade 6 students at SJPII performed two musical pieces in the Kenora District Festival of the Arts on Monday and Knox United Church.

Students in Grades 4 and 5 traveled to Wauzhushk Onigum Nation last week for the annual Fall Harvest.

Over two weeks, the students in Mrs. Shouldice’s Grade 5 class from Pope John Paul II School took on the challenge of planning and constructing a “Stations of the Cross” experience for the Kenora community within the Kenora Catholic campus.
