Pope John Paul II School is thrilled to receive a grant from the Kenora and Lake of the Woods Community Foundation for the school's nutrition program. The school received $11,280 through the Community Needs Fund Grant.
The money will be put towards the nutrition program which helps feed students throughout the day. Healthy meals are prepared for breakfast and lunch with smaller snacks. throughout the day.
Students are welcome to collect and eat the food whenever they wish so that there is no stigma involved in the handing out of the meals.
The grant will once again make this very important program possible.
